Concept of Charity in Islam

We have huge benefits of charity (Sadaqa) in islam .In order to please God help the needy,poor something is given in the form of money.Zakat is the third pillar of islam.It’s an obligation of every individual person who deserves itThe upper hand is bigger than the lower hand.Donating zakat & charity is the main islamic teachings in all over the world.

Significance of Zakat:

The put great emphasis on giving zakat to the deserving people.Zakat is compulsory for all Muslims to give to the poor community as many people around us are without the basic human needs . By giving zakat , money is routed and reached at the poor hands also. As illuminated in the Holy Quran,By giving zakat Muslims build a strong connection with Allah(SWT).

“A charity is due for every joint in each person on every day the sun comes up: to act justly between two people is a charity; to help a man with his mount, lifting him onto it or hoisting up his belongings onto it, is a charity; a good word is a charity; and removing a harmful thing from the road is a charity.” (Al-Bukhari, Muslim)

"Be steadfast in prayer, practice regular charity, and bow down your heads with those who bow down (in worship)" (2:43). Surah Al-Baqarah

Those who spend their wealth (in the Allah’s way) by day and night secretly and publicly they will have their reward with their lord.
